Up-and-Coming Improvisors

Auditions for the improv team were held last week during 5th and 6th hour. Members of repertory theatre and advanced repertory theatre can audition for the improv team each year for a chance to be featured during improv showcases. At auditions, we saw a diverse group of talent and faces.

The newly formed improv team will meet with students at Indian Woods Middle School to teach them the basics of improv. Throughout about six meetings with the group of middle schoolers, the team will play exciting improv games to expand the future theatre kids’ skills while also having a good time. Improv co-captain Naida Kosek hopes to get the younger students out of their shells by showing them the fun, laid-back side of theatre.
